Affiliate Marketing Strategy Through The Eyes Of An Affiliate Marketing Entrepreneur?

Today I’m going to share with you the affiliate marketing strategy we as affiliate marketers go through. Whether you are a newbie or someone who’s been struggling in the industry for many years and not quite able to put the pieces together. Or, you are actually somebody who knows all about affiliate marketing but has newbies in your team and you’ve actually sent them here to try to understand the process -let me share it with you.

What is the affiliate marketing strategy?

Let’s keep it simple. We have traffic that provides us with leads that build our business list that then converts to sales.

As an affiliate marketer, you need the ability to drive traffic to your website or hub to build your business list and the ability to cultivate and communicate with that list, and the ability to sell to the list.

When you can generate a list and build a relationship with your list by providing value and have the ability to persuasively sell to your list then you will be EXTRAORDINARY at marketing.

First things first…

You need to understand that you as a marketer have a website or hub and as the business owner it is your intention to get as much traffic as possible to your website. By being able to generate traffic to your website or hub or capture page with whatever marketing strategy you specialize in, you are then able to collect leads.

PHASE1: Capture Page

For you to be able to collect leads you will either have a web form available or a capture page built into your website or hub or standalone.

What is a web form or capture page?

It’s a webpage designed as an online form that offers something for free in exchange for the visitor's email address. So get GREAT at creating capture pages that turn traffic into sales. Keep in mind the capture page is not your business it's just part of the components in building the business.

A Sales & Marketing Funnel is what can be created and built into your capture page. It’s where a series of steps have been implemented to turn prospects into customers. The guts behind it is as long as you know what it is you want your potential customers to do next, you’ll find it’s far more efficient to get them to do it.

So once you have gotten the visitor to provide their email address they now become your new lead on your list. So with that being said the webform/capturepage – captures leads.

PHASE2: Autoresponder – List

The autoresponder is non-negotiable as a tool used in your online business, so choose wisely. Understand that the most important aspect of your business is your leads that go into your leads list. Once the lead is captured it is now part of the business asset being part of the list and stored in the email autoresponder.

It is now up to you to be able to communicate effectively with your lead via the autoresponder. Getresponse or Aweber is an autoresponder and a great tool to use when starting out to build your business list.

The autoresponder is a great way to do the follow-up and therefore able to stay in contact with your leads and build that relationship and further along be able to share more key information. A good follow-up will double your closing ratio.

That's the process of collecting leads. That's how it's done. The process from there is the lead now receives the free information via email in sequence from the autoresponder or perhaps a broadcast.

PHASE3: The Bridge Page

The next part of the process is once the lead has optin to your webform or capture page they are then automatically sent to another webpage being your thank you page or bridge page if you choose, rather than an amateur way of sending directly to the sales page. This is where your uniqueness comes into play. A genuine welcome video is a great start. Just know that is a more professional way of sending your lead through your website sales funnel.

PHASE4: Website Sales Page

Once the bridge page has been viewed the funnel will now take you to the website sales page. This will be your company website with all the juicy details.

PHASE5: Checkout Page.

Before your prospect on your list becomes a customer this is the final destination the checkout page. Now that you have the information you need get your marketing process started.

The process of each phase can be modeled in sequential steps when you build your website funnel – your business sales funnel. You now have all the information you would require to get yourself started or adjusted. Your team can now confidently create or update their marketing process.

With each phase strategically planned out, you and your team can work more efficiently than ever before.
